.::Sydney::.

So much for the daily post... haha Sorry! I had too much fun and very little time to get on the net to post to you all, so I will fill you in now. The rest of Sydney was amazing. Phil came, we went to Luna Park ate at amazing restaurants and just generally explored the city. I will list some of my favourite places we ate and drank as I love food and I am sure you all do too.

Where we ate:
  • German restaurant called the Lowenbrau, which was set up to look like an Oktoberfest beer hall. Here we ate the most delicious Pork Knuckle (the size of your head) and drank mango steins! http://www.lowenbrau.com.au
  • Teppanyaki at an exclusive 10 person restaurant. It. was. amazing! A little more expensive but if you are wanting to head out for an amazing meal that also provides the entertainment of watching the chef cook and sear your food in front of you... this is the place for you! I am not a huge seafood eater but they also have a "beef lovers" menu and it was delicious. https://www.therocks.com/eat-drink/the-rocks-teppanyaki.aspx
  • The Shangrilah Hotel (Blu Bar) for Cocktails. This is situated 36 levels high overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The views are incredible. I started off with a chocolate "Toblerone" cocktail and then tried the "Italian Job" which was a little more fresh and fruity. Mmmm So yummy! http://www.36levelsabove.com.au/blubar/downloads-en.html
Soo these are a few of the places I went... Long story short I dined well. It was great haha!
Annnnnndddd home sweet home now.

In other news... Yesterday was my birthday :) I had the greatest weekend! I will do another post for that though because that in itself has a lot of photos. Firstly I will post the rest from Sydney!

Enjoy.

.::Freedom has never tasted sweeter::.

Sooooo yesterday I finished exams!!! I can not even begin to explain the feeling you get when you're walking out of your last exam feeling as though you have nailed them and then knowing you about to jump on a plane!! I'M IN SYDNEY!! I am currently sitting on a couch, in my parents new apartment, 20 floors high over looking the Sydney harbour bridge and Opera house... honestly it doesn't get much better! Photo's don't even do this justice! So I will try to do a day by day.

Day 1.

Today I woke up at 11am after having no slept for 43 hours due to cram studying like crazy for my last exam (Felling super fresh!). The first and only real desire in Sydney was to get to their coastline... as you may have already noticed, I am a sucker for nature and more specifically the beach. So heading to Sydney's coast was first on my to do list (even though I have been here quite a few times before).

It is honestly beautiful. So rugged and raw, filled with cliffs and trees. The ocean is filled with surfers in a bay that seems so safe and protected, people walking and running along the hilly pathways and people socialising with friends in coffee shops or even just playing volleyball. It was so lively. Mind you it was a beautiful sunny day here, so I guess that does help! I have fallen in love with the suburb Bronte, NSW and if I were to move over here I would move there or maybe even a little further south.

We went for lunch at the famous Doyle's restaurant in Watson's Bay (A place where submerged between river and sea). If you like Seafood this is the place for you! ...I am not much of a seafood eater personally but I really enjoyed it.

Ahhh and tomorrow I get to see the most amazing boy in the world :) Phil! He and his band are touring here at the moment but tonight is his last show, so tomorrow he comes to stay with me for the next 4 days! I am planning to head to the sunday markets in the morning and really want to get over to Luna park at dusk tomorrow to go on some rides and try to get some cool new shots! It's pretty over there. Also I think a few celebratory drinks are exactly what the doctor ordered... tehe!

Enjoy the pics and have a great night/day!
Speak to you tomorrow,

.::Down South Lovin::.

So I am sitting here in my study trying to focus on my university finals for the week but it isn't exactly going to plan so I figure I will do something just as productive and write to you all. Ughhh this Coconut and Lime candle next to me smells amazing!

I am looking forward to Friday because I am of to Sydney with Phil. He and his band is playing over there with Rufus and then we will both stay with my parents in their new apartment for 5 days after!! Eeeee! So excited. I have been to Sydney many times now but this time I would like to go and explore their cliffy coast lines and gorgeous blue mountains. Hopefully I can take some amazing photos to show you all.

In the meantime I should really knuckle down on these exams. NEARLY DONE!

Here are some photos from a trip down south just recently.
